PolyScape® Ultra Grade is backed by DrJ™ Technical Evaluation Report (TER 2506-104), confirming its suitability for structural applications including decks, docks, boardwalks, platforms, beams, joists, posts, and columns. The report includes approved design values, span tables, fastener data, and installation requirements, making it easy to support permitting and engineering reviews.
PolyScape generally costs more upfront than pressure-treated lumber, but its superior durability, dimensional stability, and long service life can reduce maintenance and replacement costs over time. Aluminum offers similar longevity but is often comparable in price to PolyScape.
PolyScape works with many of the same fasteners and connectors used for traditional lumber. Galvanized or stainless-steel hardware is recommended for outdoor applications, and pre-drilling is advised for visible fasteners to achieve the best appearance and performance.
PolyScape plastic lumber is manufactured from a blend of recycled and virgin plastic resins. Recycled content may vary based on material availability and performance requirements.

At PolyScape, we’re committed to sustainability and performance. Our plastic lumber is made from a mix of plastic resins, which may include both recycled and virgin materials.
We actively incorporate recycled plastics—including post-consumer and post-industrial sources—whenever they meet our quality standards and are available at a viable cost. This includes material recovered through our own TagBack program.
Because recycled material availability and specifications can vary, the percentage of recycled content in each batch may differ.
